The 2026 American Classic will take place June 27 at Twin City Twisters East in Champlin, Minnesota – just north of Minneapolis.

The Classic is a qualifier for the 2026 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, set for August 6-9 in Phoenix, Arizona. If athletes don’t obtain the necessary qualifying score at the American Classic, they will have one more opportunity at the U.S. Classic, set for July 18 in Hartford, Connecticut.

Key names to watch at the American Classic based on the initial registration list are Missouri alum Amari Celestine and Alabama commit Ally Damelio, who both qualified elite at the Fuzion Elite National Qualifier in May.

Jade Carey has shared she intends to compete at the American Classic, but she is not currently registered. Another notable name who qualified elite at the Fuzion meet but has yet to register: Alabama’s Azaraya Ra-Akbar.

USA Gymnastics will update the field of registered athletes each Monday leading up to competition, so check back here for the latest.
