REFLECTIONS ON TRAINING AND PERFORMANCE BY MARCELLO BORELLI
The idea of setting up a blog simply arose from the desire to register my reflections, ideas, and proposals on training and performance in Aerobic Gymnastics.
The intention is to post scientific articles and evidence regarding the modality but also to publish my studies, speculations, and beliefs that have not yet been proven, but that certainly presents coherent reasoning, logic, and the need to understand the practice to try to solve everyday training situations.
The most important thing is that these actions promote reflections, discussions, and improvement in the planning, application, and control in Aerobics Gymnastics training.

Mi chiamo Elisabetta Oberti, ho 24 anni e abito a Bergamo (Italia). Ho praticato ginnastica aerobica per 17 anni sia in campo nazionale che in campo internazionale. Ora sono allenatrice nella mia società, l’Aerobica Evolution di Bergamo.
Ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in Scienza, Tecnica e Didattica dello sport a luglio 2020.
La mia tesi di laurea triennale aveva come titolo “L’ATTIVITA’ CARDIACA NELLA GINNASTICA AEROBICA. ESERCIZIO INDIVIDUALE E DI GRUPPO: QUALI DIFFERENZE?”.
Lo studio si propone di valutare e comparare gli adattamenti fisiologici cardiovascolari correlati alla tipologia di esercizio che, nonostante il nome, è di tipo prevalentemente anaerobico.
Scopo del lavoro è quindi la valutazione ed il confronto della frequenza cardiaca e delle sue modificazioni e/o alterazioni durante lo svolgimento di in un esercizio di gruppo a cinque ed in un esercizio singolo, verificata su atlete della squadra agonistica – categoria Junior B.
Inoltre è stato effettuato il monitoraggio notturno della frequenza cardiaca per studiare il recupero delle atlete a riposo.
Al termine dell’elaborato, si può affermare che per quanto riguarda l’attività cardiaca durante la routine di ginnastica aerobica non si sono riscontrate differenze significative tra l’esercizio di gruppo e quello individuale.Anche il recupero immediato ed il recupero tardivo sono totali in entrambi i casi. Quindi i lavori cardiovascolari sono uguali, mentre possiamo rilevare delle differenze in altri ambiti meno scientifici e più di percezione logica (scala Borg).

My name is Elisabetta Oberti, I’m 24 years old and i live in Bergamo, Italy. I’ve been practicing aerobic for 17 years. I took part in both national and international gymnastic championships. Nowadays I’m one of the coach of my team, Aerobica Evolution Bergamo.
In July 2020 I got my Master degree in Sport science and technology.
The title of my bachelor thesis was “The heart rate variability in aerobic gymnastic. Individual and group routines: do they have any differences?”
The goal of the thesis was to find and compare the physiological cardiovascular adjustment during the anaerobic training of aerobic gymnastic.
The heart rate variability of a group of athletes AGE GROUP 2 (15-17y) was tested and compared during the performance of group and individual routines.
Furthermore, the heart rate variability of the athletes was also tested during the night sleep to analyze the recovery.
There were no significant differences regarding the HRV and the recovery between the group routine and the individual routine.
One of the difference that came out was about the individual perception of fatigue. (RPE Rate of Perceived Exertion).
