USA Gymnastics has announced the locations for the 2027 Men’s and Women’s Development Program Eastern and Western Championships.

INDIANAPOLIS (May 12, 2026) – USA Gymnastics has announced the locations for the 2027 Men’s and Women’s Development Program Eastern and Western Championships.

2027 will see the Women’s Eastern and Western Championships hosted May 6-9 in Gainesville, Florida and Galveston, Texas, respectively; and the Men’s Eastern and Western Championships April 30-May 2 will return to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Reno, Nevada, respectively.

Women’s Eastern and Western Championships
In 2027, the Women’s Eastern Championships May 6-9 will be held at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center in Gainesville, Florida, while Westerns will be at the Moody Gardens Hotel Convention Center and Resort in Galveston, Texas.

Junior and senior women’s Level 9 athletes will conclude their season in regional competition with individual and regional titles on the line.

Women’s regions competing in each championship are listed below.

Eastern Championships

  • Region 5 – Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio
  • Region 6 – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont
  • Region 7 – Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia
  • Region 8 – Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee

Western Championships

  • Region 1 – Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah
  • Region 2 – Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington
  • Region 3 – Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming
  • Region 4 – Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin

Men’s Eastern and Western Championships
The 2027 Men’s Championships will return to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Reno, Nevada, after the cities hosted each competition in 2025. Eastern competition in Florida will again pass through the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center, while Westerns is held at the Reno Events Center.

Athletes across the six men’s regions will vie for regional titles, with competition including Level 6 Junior Elite, Level 7, and Level 8-9 Junior National gymnasts. Following competition, the 2027-28 Future Stars National Development Team will be selected.

Eastern Championships

  • Region 4 – Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia
  • Region 5 – Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, West Virginia
  • Region 6 – Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont

Western Championships

  • Region 1 – Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah
  • Region 2 – Alaska, Colorado, Iowa, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming
  • Region 3 – Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas

More information on the Eastern and Western Championships will be posted as it becomes available. The location of the 2027 USA Gymnastics Men’s and Women’s Development Program National Championships will be announced later this year.
