PHOENIX (August 8, 2026) – Following the conclusion of men’s competition Saturday at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, the USA Gymnastics men’s program announced the athletes selected to the 2026 World Championships roster and the U.S. National Team Presented by Xfinity.

Headlined by the top three all-around finishers in Phoenix, U.S. all-around champion and Olympic medalist Frederick Richard, U.S. silver medalist and Olympian Shane Wiskus, and U.S. bronze medalist and Junior World medalist Danila Leykin secured three of the five spots on the team headed to Rotterdam.

Joining the trio will be two-time U.S. pommel horse champion Patrick Hoopes and two-time U.S. vault champion Kameron Nelson. Olympian and five-time U.S. champion Yul Moldauer will join the team in Rotterdam as a traveling replacement athlete.

Selected as the non-traveling replacement athletes was 2026 U.S. horizontal bar champion Cooper Kim.

The 2026 World Championships will run from October 17-26 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and will be the first chance to qualify a team to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Complete information on the World Championships can be found on the event website and the World Gymnastics event page.
