Relive the moments, routines, and standout athletes at the 2026 American Cup!

For the first time since 2020, American Cup returned to the competition slate in the States in a Mixed Team format comparable to what we’ll see at the 2028 Olympics. In a meet that saw multiple falls from every team on every event, and plenty of drama, Team China (57.250) went on to take the title ahead of Team USA (54.700) and Team Japan (54.100).

Individual highlights included a solid outing from 2024 Olympic team gold medalist, 2025 U.S. All-Around and 2026 Winter Cup Champion Hezly Rivera, an emerging star in Team USA’s Danila Leykin on parallel bars, Team USA’s Claire Pease on uneven bars, and the most decorated athlete in the field, and one of the best ever to step onto the competition floor, 2020 Olympic Champion and three-time World Champion Hashimoto Daiki (JPN), who had the highest score on any apparatus during the competition with a 14.950 on high bar. First-year seniors Leykin and Charleigh Bullock recorded two of the three highest scores from the U.S. team as Bullock scored a 14.100 on bars in Round 2, while Leykin’s 14.000 on p bars helped Team USA advance out of Round 1.
