After years of tributes and being inspired by Beyoncé, Jordan Chiles finally met the global superstar on Wednesday.

Always the multitasker, Chiles had some downtime between regionals and next week’s national championships to attend an event for Cécred, Beyoncé’s hair care company, with UCLA teammate Sydney Barros.

That’s where she met her idol.

Both dressed in all white, Chiles danced up to the pop star before they hugged and gushed over each other while holding hands.

“How you doing beautiful?” Beyoncé said.

The 35-time Grammy winner complimented Chiles’ 2024 floor routine set to her music – “You killed it!” She also said one of her daughters likes to flip and watch Jordan and is so inspired by her. Beyoncé is a mom of three with husband Jay-Z.

“Ahhhhhh guys I met Beyoncé,” Chiles said when sharing the video on her Instagram story. “My dreams have come true!! Words can’t describe my feelings right now….”

This meeting has been years in the making, and honestly, we’re surprised it didn’t happen sooner! Beyoncé even sent Chiles flowers back in January.

One of Chiles’ most iconic tributes to Beyoncé were the leos she designed with GK Elite for the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, both of which were inspired by some of her favorite looks from the pop star. See photos of the leos and watch her 2024 floor routine below.

You can catch Chiles competing next at the 2026 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships April 16-18 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Gymnastics Now will have on-site coverage.
