Megan Chu reached the podium on all four apparatus Sunday, including gold on ball, while the U.S. group won silver and bronze to close out competition at the 2026 Rhythmic Pan American Championships.

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (June 7, 2026) – Megan Chu (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) reached the podium on all four apparatus Sunday, including gold on ball, while the U.S. group won silver and bronze to close out competition at the 2026 Rhythmic Pan American Championships. With Chu adding silver on ribbon and bronze on clubs and hoop, the U.S. finished the competition with 10 medals.

The two-time U.S. all-around silver medalist, Chu shared the podium with two Brazilians in all four apparatus competitions. The American topped the medal podium on ball with a 27.500 to finish ahead of Maria Alexandre in second (26.700) and Barbara Domingos in third (26.600). On ribbon, Chu scored 28.350 to take silver just .050 behind Giovanna Santos (28.400), with Domingos third with a 28.250.

Chu scored bronze on ribbon with a 28.200, with Santos first (28.950) and Domingos second (28.600). On clubs Chu earned a 28.100, with Domingos taking gold (29.000) and Alexandre silver (28.600). When the day had finished, Chu’s total medal count reached six over the course of competition.

Natalie de la Rosa (Woodland Hills, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) also competed in all four apparatus finals, finishing fourth on hoop (27.500), fifth on ball (25.400), and sixth on clubs (25.750) and ribbon (24.050).

3-for-3 medal podiums for group

After winning all-around silver on Saturday, the U.S. group of Goda Balsys (Northbrook, Ill.), Kristina Lee (Woodridge, Ill.), Alaini Spata (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), Aurora Sullivan (Los Angeles, Calif.), Kalina Trayanov (Deerfield, Ill.) and Natalia Ye-Granda (San Diego, Calif.) added silver on five balls and bronze on three hoops and two clubs to successfully reach the podium in all of their events over the weekend.

The quintet on Sunday posted a 26.650 on five balls to rise from their fourth-place position after qualifying, placing behind Brazil (29.250) and ahead of Mexico (25.500). On three hoops and two clubs, the Americans scored a 25.800 to finish in bronze-medal position, with Brazil first (28.900) and Mexico second (26.600).
