ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (October 23, 2026) – Three-time World Championships team medalist Skye Blakely (Frisco, Texas/University of Florida) made her first individual World medal one to remember Friday night in Rotterdam, winning the women’s all-around gold at the 2026 Artistic World Championships. Fellow American Claire Pease (Sunnyvale, Texas/WOGA Gymnastics) also punched in a seventh place showing in a strong performance.

In her fourth trip to the World Championship stage, Blakely was at her best all night, topping the all-around podium with a 55.733. The veteran had huge 14+ scores starting on vault (14.200) before moving to uneven bars (14.400) and balance beam (14.200). She ended with a strong 12.933 on floor exercise to finish the night and seal the win. Blakely’s success marks the extension of a 23-year streak of U.S. women medaling in World all-around competition since the 2003 World Championships in Anaheim, California.

Pease joined her 2026 silver medal winning teammate in the top 10, finishing seventh with a 54.232. She also notched the highest floor score of the night with a massive 13.733.

The pair will be back in Rotterdam Ahoy arena Saturday afternoon for the women’s vault and uneven bars finals, which will kick off at 8 a.m. ET. They will be joined by Frederick Richard (Stoughton, Mass./University of Michigan), who will contest men’s floor, and Patrick Hoopes (Lehi, Utah/U.S. Air Force Academy), who is set for pommel horse. Peacock will continue to stream the action live while World Gymnastics provides live scoring to follow along.
