Twenty-two junior and senior Americans will compete in artistic gymnastics this week at the 2026 Junior and Senior Pan American Championships, June 17-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The championships will span five days and serve as a qualifier for both the 2026 Artistic World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands this October and the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.

Highlighting the U.S. women’s roster in the senior division are 2024 Olympic gold medalist and defending U.S. all-around, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise champion Hezly Rivera; her 2026 American Cup team silver medalist teammates Charleigh Bullock and Claire Pease; 2026 Winter Cup floor exercise bronze medalist Simone Rose; and Lila Richardson. Completing the team on the junior side are 2026 City of Jesolo Trophy team champions Amia Pugh-Banks, Addalye VanGrinsven and Sydney Williams; and 2025 Winter Cup floor exercise champion Vivi Crain.

Senior Alessia Rosa and junior Paisley Ritger are in Rio as traveling replacement athletes.

Taking the stage for the senior men will be 2020 Olympian and two-time World Championships bronze medalist Yul Moldauer; 2025 World pommel horse bronze medalist Patrick Hoopes; 2025 Senior Pan American Championships team champion Taylor Burkhart; 2026 Cottbus World Cup still rings bronze medalist Kameron Nelson; and 2026 Winter Cup floor exercise bronze medalist Riley Loos. Representing the U.S. among the juniors are U.S. junior all-around champion Maksim Kan; 2025 U.S. junior pommel horse silver medalist Ori Reilly; 2026 Men’s Development National horizontal bar champion Anthony Ruscheinsky; and 2025 U.S. junior still rings champion Hunter Simpson.

Joining the team on the ground in Brazil as replacement athletes are Brandon Dang and Jay Watkins.
