We are excited to offer a parent-focused education opportunity for gymnastics families.

Feedback gathered in 2025 showed that better understanding their gymnast was the area where parents most wanted additional support. To meet this need, we are offering a live webinar designed specifically for gymnastics parents.

Hosted by Dr Mnthali Price
The session will be facilitated by Dr Mnthali Price, a clinical psychologist with more than 10 years’ experience working with children, young people, and adults. Mnthali specialises in sport performance, anxiety, parenting, ADHD, and stress management, and currently works at Starship Hospital. She also brings lived experience as a former gymnast and coach, which gives her a strong understanding of the realities faced by gymnastics families.

This webinar is for all parents who want to better support their gymnast or feel more confident navigating the gymnastics environment.

Parents attending the webinar can expect:

  • A clearer understanding of the complex systems at play in a gymnast’s world.
  • Insight into how these systems are shaped by the unique context of gymnastics.
  • Practical ways to build connection, recognising that connection is the first step toward effective support.
  • Useful tips and strategies to support your gymnast’s development both as an athlete and as a person.
  • Discussion around common topics in gymnastics, such as stress, anxiety, and perfectionism, where expectations and perceived pressure can often be high.
