The 2026 World Championships will be held from October 17-25 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The U.S. men already named their five-person team following the conclusion of competition at the U.S. Championships.

Rivera won the all-around and beam at championships. Pease was second overall and won bars, and Bullock rounded out the all-around podium. All three are looking to make their first world team.

Esponda was fourth all-around at championships and won floor after a breakout win at the U.S. Classic in July. Carey was fifth overall and won vault. While the 17-year-old Esponda is also looking to make her first world team, this would be Carey’s fourth world team. The 26-year-old is a seven-time world medalist in addition to her three Olympic medals.

Blakely is a two-time world team gold medalist and was part of last year’s squad that competed in Jakarta. She’s looking to make her fourth world team as well. The Florida Gator standout returned to the all-around at U.S. Championships – her first elite all-around appearance since the 2024 U.S. Championships – and finished seventh after three falls on day two.

Wong has been plagued by injuries at both the U.S. Classic and championships. While she was limited to only beam at Classic, she had to withdraw completely from championships. As a member of the 2025 world team, she was able to petition to selection camp. This would be her fifth world team. She is a five-time world medalist, including two team golds. She is the reigning world all-around silver medalist.

Hang has shown promise in recent years but struggled with injuries. She competed a watered-down beam routine at championships on day one so she would be able to petition to selection camp.

Selection camp is expected to be streamed. Stay tuned for more details. Gymnastics Now will also have coverage of selection camp and Worlds.

Note: Invited athletes aren’t guaranteed to compete.
