FRANKFURT, Germany (August 15, 2026) – The American delegation finished eighth in team competition Saturday as the Senior National Group ranked 17th all-around on Day 4 of the 2026 Rhythmic World Championships.

With a combined score of 270.000, the U.S. team of Rin Keys (Porter Ranch, Calif./Buro Gymnastics), Megan Chu (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy), Goda Balsys (Northbrook, Ill.), Kristina Lee (Woodridge, Ill.), Alaini Spata (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), Aurora Sullivan (Los Angeles, Calif.), Kalina Trayanov (Deerfield, Ill.) and Natalia Ye-Granda (San Diego, Calif.) finished eighth in the world out of 21 countries. Team scores were determined by adding all individual qualifying scores and group all-around scores together.

The independent team of Russian and Belarussian athletes won gold (278.300), team Bulgaria took silver (276.050) and China won bronze (275.400).

In group competition, the Senior National Group finished 17th all-around with a 48.900 in a competition won by Spain (57.450). The group was 14th in three hoops and two clubs with a 25.600 and 21st in five balls with a 23.300.

The 2026 Rhythmic World Championships conclude Sunday with apparatus finals. Chu will compete in the hoop, clubs and ribbon finals, with Keys joining her in the clubs field. Visit the live event page for all information.
