The 2026 European Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Championships are set for August 13-16 at Arena Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia.

Men’s competition will follow at the same venue from August 19-23.

The meet, which features both juniors and seniors, will stray from a typical schedule, with the senior team final serving as the finale on Sunday.

Qualifying is crucial for teams and individuals as the top 13 teams and top 25 all-arounders not on a qualifying team will earn berths to the 2026 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Two years out from LA28, veteran stars are making their way back into the fold, namely 2016 Olympic beam champion Sanne Wevers (NED) and Becky Downie (GBR) – both of whom are 34 years old.

In the all-around, reigning world all-around champion Angelina Melnikova (WG2/RUS) is looking to claim her first overall title on the European stage after almost missing the meet due to visa issues. Expected to be one of her strongest competitors is first-year senior Elena Colas, who is just 16.

Two-time reigning European all-around champion Manila Esposito is not expected to defend her title. The 2024 Olympic beam bronze medalist is expected to focus on that event and floor.

Here’s everything you need to know about when to tune in and how to watch, no matter where you live. Gymnastics Now is on-site in Zagreb and will have coverage throughout both the men’s and women’s meets, so follow along here and on social.
