INDIANAPOLIS (July 30, 2026) – Nearly 40 senior, junior and youth athletes have been selected to the U.S. roster for the 2026 Acrobatic World Championships, Junior World Championships and World Youth Competitions, set for September 17-27 in Pesaro, Italy.

Senior World Championships

The U.S. will send two pairs and two groups to represent the federation at the Acrobatic World Championships from September 24-27.

After earning the 2026 World Cup Series title and sweeping the men’s pair competition at the 2026 USA Gymnastics Championships in June, brothers Yaroslav and Vsevolod Osslodkov have been selected to represent the United States at the Acrobatic World Championships. It will be their first appearance at a senior World Championships after winning the junior World all-around gold medal in 2024.

Sydney Padios and Willow Noble also earned World Championships berths after sweeping the women’s pair competition at the national championships.

The United States will send two women’s groups to the World Championships. The trio of Juli Williams, Carmelle Djoumgoue and Aubrie Cunningham earned selection after sweeping all senior women’s group titles in Tulsa. Joining them are U.S. all-around silver medalists Roni Azerrad, Layla DeVaul and Ayden Rawls-Blodgett.

The women’s group of Fiona O’Brien, Emelia Eddy, and Elize Slade of International Elite will serve as non-traveling replacement athletes.

Junior World Championships

Prior to senior competition in Italy, eight Americans will compete for the U.S in the 13-19 division at the Junior World Championships September 17-20.

The delegation includes two-time U.S. 13-19 women’s pair all-around champions Sophia Roberston and Isabella Brookins, who will be joined by reigning U.S. 13-19 women’s group all-around champions Alani Do, Awdriana Ornelas and Silver Weddle, and 2025 U.S. 12-18 women’s group dynamic silver medalists Leesy Sarria, Gia Calo and Dakota Martin. The group of Jocyna Hall, Leonie Ouvrier and Juliet Hanks was tapped as non-traveling replacements.

World Youth Competitions

The remaining 20 gymnasts of the delegation, comprised of athletes in the 12-18 division, are set for the World Youth Competitions in Italy, also spanning September 17-20.

Competing in the women’s pair event are 2026 U.S. all-around champions Alina Rizvanova and Violet Froste, and U.S. all-around bronze medalists Elise Maher and Gracie Deters. Reigning U.S. mixed pair all-around gold medalists Yasmin Roberts and Valentino Elbaz will take on mixed pair competition.

In group, the U.S. women’s group all-around titlists of Olivia Irreno, Danica Weinstein and Keira Ackley will be joined in action by U.S. all-around silver medalists Alexia Irreno, Zoe DeShields and Miah Collazo.

On the men’s side, U.S. all-around winners Grant Mathison, Benjamin Dethridge, Max Rosenshaft and Peter Vonder Haar will compete for honors alongside the U.S. all-around silver medalists of Dean Miller, Noah Alvarado, Caleb Hoffmann and Joshua Hoffmann.
