RG Tashkent World Cup

Rin Keys (Porter Ranch, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics) won two silver medals while Evita Griskenas (Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) made history in Uzbekistan at the 2026 Tashkent World Cup.

Keys returns from Europe with two silver World Cup medals, winning the honors on ball (28.000) and ribbon (27.800). In addition to her apparatus success, Keys placed fourth in the all-around with a 109.050, just behind third-place Takhmina Ikromova of host-country Uzbekistan (110.900). Independent athlete Mariia Borisova won gold with a 113.500. Keys also was fourth in the clubs final with a 27.250.

On Friday, Griskenas made history as the first U.S. rhythmic gymnast to have a new body difficulty added to the World Gymnastics Code of Points. Competing in ribbon, she internationally debuted a back split with help, trunk forward at the horizontal, with open ring, which was newly approved by World Gymnastics. In all-around competition, Griskenas was 19th overall (101.650).

In group competition, the Senior National Group 1 of Goda Balsys (Northbrook, Ill.), Kristina Lee (Woodridge, Ill.), Greta Pavilonyte (Buffalo Grove, Ill.), Aurora Sullivan (Los Angeles, Calif.), Kalina Trayanov (Deerfield, Ill.) and Natalia Ye-Granda (San Diego, Calif.), placed ninth all-around with a 44.500. The group also qualified to the three hoops and two clubs final, where they ranked sixth (24.100).


MAG Osijek World Cup

Donnell Whittenburg (Baltimore, Md./EVO Gymnastics) secured parallel bars silver to lead U.S. performances at the 2026 Osijek World Cup in Croatia.

Whittenburg posted a huge 14.600 on parallel bars to win silver on the apparatus behind Angel Barajas of Colombia in first (14.866) and ahead of Ferhat Arican of Turkey in third (14.333). He also competed in the still rings final, where he finished fifth with a 13.966.

Also active in Croatian apparatus final competition was Kameron Nelson (Columbus, Ohio/EVO Gymnastics), who finished fourth on both floor exercise (13.966) and vault (14.183; 14.366, 14.000). Also competing in qualifying were Patrick Hoopes (Lehi, Utah/U.S. Air Force Academy) on pommel horse and Crew Bold (Delray Beach, Fla./University of Michigan) on parallel bars and horizontal bar qualifying.


Acro Puurs World Cup/FIAC

The U.S. acro delegation in Belgium collected eight medals, three of them gold, from the 2026 Puurs World Cup and Flanders International Acro Cup across senior and junior divisions.

In World Cup competition, the Ossolodkov duo of Yaroslav and Vsevolod (Beaumont, Calif./Incentive – AGT) won their fifth career men’s pair combined title with a 29.390. On the women’s side, Sydney Padios and Willow Noble, both of Moreno Valley, Calif./Incentive – AGT, earned combined silver in women’s pair competition with a 28.400.

The women’s group of Roni Azerrad (Rockville, Md./Xtreme Acro), Layla DeVaul (Rockville, Md./Xtreme Acro) and Ayden Rawls-Blodgett (Columbia, Md./Xtreme Acro) were active in the women’s group final and finished fifth with a combined score of 27.440.

At the Flanders International Acro Cup, American juniors won six medals over the weekend. Claiming gold were the 12-18 mixed pair of Yasmin Roberts (Las Vegas, Nev./AGC Las Vegas) and Valentino Elbaz (Las Vegas, Nev./AGC Las Vegas), and the men’s group of Dean Miller (Highland, Calif./Incentive – AGT), Caleb Hoffmann (Fontana, Calif./Incentive – AGT), Noah Alvarado (San Jacinto, Calif./Incentive – AGT) and Joshua Hoffmann (Fontana, Calif./Incentive – AGT). Roberts and Elbaz took the combined mixed pair title with a 25.820, while Miller, Alvarado and the Hoffmanns did the same in the men’s group combined final with a 24.910.

Two of the six-medals won by American juniors came in the form of silver medals, from 12-18 women’s pair of Alina Rizvanova (Sacramento, Calif./Rodina Elite Gymnastics Academy) and Violet Froste (Sacramento, Calif./Rodina Elite Gymnastics Academy), and the women’s group of Brooklyn St. Clair (Columbia, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer), Ayana Williams (Columbia, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer) and Maya Bledzki (Elkridge, Md./Emilia’s Acro Gymnastics and Cheer). The women’s pair won combined silver with a 26.500 as did the women’s group with a 26.600.

Winning bronze were the 13-19 women’s pair of Sophia Robertson (Riverside, Calif./Realis Gymnastics Academy) and Isabella Brookins (Sacramento, Calif./Realis Gymnastics Academy/Rodina Elite) with a 26.250, and the 12-18 women’s pair of Elise Maher (Eureka, Mo./Show Me Acro) and Gracie Deters (Catawissa, Mo./Show Me Acro) with a 26.200.
