MAG DTB Pokal Team Challenge

American athletes posted a 10-medal haul at the DTB Pokal Team Challenge in Germany, including four golds.

The senior men’s team of Jun Iwai (Lewisville, Texas/Stanford University), Josh Karnes (Erie, Pa./EVO Gymnastics), Danila Leykin (Sarasota, Fla./EVO Gymnastics), Yul Moldauer (Arvada, Colo./5280 Gymnastics) and Kameron Nelson (Columbus, Ohio/EVO Gymnastics) took team gold with a 246.850 to finish well ahead of Japan (243.900) and Italy (243.150). Moldauer and Nelson also each picked up event medals, with Moldauer the parallel bars champion (14.300) and pommel horse bronze medalist (14.166). Nelson secured his second international medal on still rings, winning the apparatus title with a 13.733 and adding a bronze medal on vault (13.283; 13.833, 12.733).

The junior team of Andres Aranda (League City, Texas/Houston Gymnastics Academy), Jason Hao (Oakton, Va./Capital Gymnastics), Bo McCrea (Chicago, Ill./Lakeshore Academy), Nixon Miles (Simi Valley, Calif./Gymnastics Olympica) and Jakson Kurecki (Nokomis, Fla./EVO Gymnastics) won team silver with a score of 233.400. Individually, McCrea and Hao won two apparatus medals a piece. McCrea won gold on floor (13.466) and bronze on vault with a 13.283 (13.833, 12.733). Hao earned silver medals on parallel bars (13.266) and horizontal bar (12.933).

MAG Grizzly Classic

With team gold, five individual medals from Hunter Egan (Waller, Texas/Cypress Academy of Gymnastics) and Cooper Gunderson (Delano, Minn./Mini Hops Gymnastics), the U.S. junior men’s delegation collected 14 medals at the 2026 Grizzly Classic in Alberta, Canada.

Egan took the floor exercise gold medal (13.266), was the all-around bronze medalist (74.364), won the silver medal on vault (13.633), and earned bronze on rings (11.933) and parallel bars (12.666). Egan’s sixth medal came in the form of team gold (224.659) alongside Gunderson, Elijah Gutierrez (South Lyon, Mich./Infinity Gymnastics), Jovan Jimeno (Manassas, Va./Capital Gymnastics) and Peyton Boerner (Mayfield Heights, Ohio/Gymnastics World), who racked up individual medals themselves.

Gunderson made the podium five times, winning the pommel horse (11.900), rings (12.733) and vault (13.866) titles and taking silver in the all-around (74.731) and on parallel bars (12.733). Gutierrez pommel horse silver with a 11.833, while Jimeno picked up the high bar gold (12.333) and floor bronze (12.566). He was also fourth in the all-around (72.299) and fifth on high bar (10.733)

RG Aphrodite Cup

Senior Isabel Borges (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) and junior Izabella Oleynik (Los Angeles, Calif./California Rhythms) each won clubs bronze at the 2026 Aphrodite Cup in Greece.

Borges won the bronze medal for the seniors with a 26.100 behind Kazakhstan’s Akmaral Yerekesheva in first (28.450) and Romania’s Bianca Rautu second (26.300). Oleynik took the junior clubs bronze medal with a 24.500 behind Aleksandra Petrova of Bulgaria (25.950), and Laura Lewinska of Poland (25.100). Oleynik also was active in the junior hoop final, where she placed seventh with a 24.200. Olivia Ulrich (Miami, Fla./Bessonova’s school) and Josephine Weber (Woodland Hills, Calif./Rhythmic Academy of Los Angeles) also saw final competition, with Ulrich ranking eighth on clubs in the senior division with a 23.300, and Weber finishing fourth on junior ribbon with a 24.000.

Also in action for the U.S. were Irina Fesyun (Aventura, Fla./IK School of Gymnastics) and Ruby Freshwater (Northridge, Calif./Burlo Gymnastics), who were 23rd (95.800) and 28th (93.850) in the senior all-around, respectively; and Sofia Ryabin (Boca Raton, Fla./IK School of Gymnastics) who was 21st (90.700) in the junior all-around followed by Riko Kawai (Los Angeles, Calif./Rhythmic Academy of Los Angeles) in 26th (88.400).

RG Marbella Grand Prix

Megan Chu (San Diego, Calif./Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy) and Evita Griskenas (Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center) each secured top 15 finishes in the all-around and advanced to finals at the 2026 Marbella Grand Prix in Spain.

Chu finished 10th in all-around competition (107.850) in Spain, also placing fifth (28.550) in the clubs final and seventh (27.650) on ribbon. Griskenas was 15th in the all-around (104.250), was sixth (27.750) on ribbon and eighth on clubs (27.700). Taisiia Onofriichuk on Ukraine was the all-around champion with a 115.500 and the ribbon gold medalist with a 29.850. Uzbekistan’s Takhmina Ikromova won clubs gold with a 30.400.
